This program is designed to provide learners with 21st-century knowledge and skills to deepen their understanding of how curriculum and assessment innovations, pedagogical methods, technology integration, and cultural competency interplay to foster and improve student learning. Through rigorous and relevant curriculum, teachers apply their learning in their daily classrooms to create immediate impact for their students, classrooms, and schools.

  3. Design and deliver instructional methods supported by applicable theories and research-based models of teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners and discipline-specific content.
  4. Integrate educational technology tools and practices into curriculum, instructional, and assessment design and delivery to facilitate effective teaching and learning.
  5. Develop and implement a variety of assessment strategies to assess student learning and interpret and communicate results to drive future curricular and instructional decisions at the classroom and school level.
  6. Address the needs of diverse learner populations by employing curriculum, instruction, and assessment strategies appropriate for students' cultural backgrounds and different learning needs.
  7. Exhibit the professional dispositions of effective teachers by engaging in research-based practice, reflective teaching practice, professional growth and development, and employing effective communication strategies with stakeholders.
